Erdogan Offers Condolences to Saudi Crown Prince Over Recent Attacks

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan extended his condolences to Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, following attacks that targeted the kingdom, according to reports on Saturday.

The message was delivered during a phone conversation between the two leaders, in which they also reviewed the ongoing regional conflict and recent developments in the area, as stated by officials.

According to a statement released by the communications office, the discussion focused on the importance of diplomatic engagement and the need to address tensions through dialogue rather than escalation.

"President Erdogan stated that he has been holding talks to ensure that diplomacy is given a chance despite everything, that problems are resolved through dialogue, and that negotiations return," it said.

The statement further noted: "President Erdogan conveyed his condolences to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia," it added.
